R1 Onboarding and Template Help

Onboard

First time users, check the below sections first to establish basic templates and at least one property profile.

Once those profiles exist, you can re-use them for properties on demand in the future.

Step 0: Fill out the form with new customer info.

Option 1: Select your configuration profile to use.

Option 2: Utilize the Copy Paste feature to copy all settings from any existing Customer into the new customer you are creating.

Basic Templates

Replace the default values and save as a customized config. These will become building blocks for more advanced property profiles.

These configs are saved and sharable across your MSP login level.

Property Profiles

Combine default or customized basic templates into a set of configurations to apply to a customer (property).

For example, if you want the guest SSID to broadcast everywhere but conference space, you may want to activate guest, public, and admin venues, while leaving conference venue unchecked.

These custom sets of configs are saved and sharable across your MSP login level.

They can be used to onboard a new property.

View Settings

This tool is meant to view all the granular settings pulled from your customer property in a nested tree.

Not always the cleanest to read deciphering ID and machine language, but still a helpful reference!

Compare Sites

This tool is meant to compare any subset of the configurations for two customers/properties.

It isn't the cleanest interface yet, but could prove helpful when doing a stare an compare.

Caveat: Things will not always appear indexed in the same order, so ensuring you are comparing the same configuration groups may be a little cumbersome.

Deleter

Step 1: Select Site.

Step 2: And like that, *poof* ... its gone.
